View Full Version : Stealth Kill

I have to kill two targets without arousing suspicion for an informer.

I walk up to the targets, press "F" and choose my short dagger ("2") and klick on assassinate.

Afterwards, _always_ some guard detects me, no matter if I walk away in "blend", run away, or simply stay put.

The mission always fails. I've tried it for 12 times at least now, what am I doing wrong?

Hmm these stupid targets are only walking around in a shopping street, there's always guards around.

I even tried killing the guards, no use, always respawned

Try using throwing knives from a rooftop.

Is this the one in the Rich district of Acre? The informer who starts with "Don't kill me!" ?

I just did that last night. It's definitely possible. I did go around and kill all the guards, some of them respawn, yes, but not all of them. Also, Night_mist is right, you may have to follow them for a while until there's no guards around. After stabbing them, you have to haul *** away, just in case.

Strange, I did that mission today and I made it in 1 go http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Anyway, for your problem:
You don't have to press F. You can calmly walk up to him from behind, you don't even have to go in blend. When you are behind him, and you are still low profile, and you haven't targeted him, press Left mouse button. In my game version (like, as if it is different http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif) Altair stabs them in the back, and they take so much time to fall you can easily run away. No suspicion at all http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

AND DO NOT RUN!!! if you do you'll have guards on your tail and be exposed. WALK away quietly -- you have nothing to hide. only the guilty run
