I've just started the BI-1 Campaign career missions and Im finding it impossible to complete the first one. Can someone give me some tips on landing the test glider. It seems to drop like a stone under 500 feet!

Is this for the origonal IL2?
I seem to recall that there was a bug in these missions for the B1-1 but cannot recall exactly - maybe one of the old hands like bearcat or tully will know

You might have to turn off 'no instant success' or at least have a look at the mission in the FMB to see what the mission builder really wanted.

1st mission: you need to land and come to a complete stop in the first half of the runway after passing through each of the waypoints IIRC. It's been a while... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

There are also two missions in this campaign which will need an edit for the engine to start, you'll know them when you get to them. The airwarfare.com FAQ has directions for doing the edit in notepad, or you can open the affected missions in Full Mission Builder and change the first waypoint from Takeoff to Normfly then back to Takeoff.
