Give this game a 10 seriously think about it.

Presentation:No game has been set in this time the enviroments are incredible and it has living breathing cities.10

Graphics: Do I have to say anymore.10

Sound:Many differant languages and realistic sounds of a city and the people in it.9-10

Gameplay:True next gen gameplay free-running great combat system and social stealth.9.5-10

Lasting appeal:20 hours if you play right through 40 if you do side quests.flags to collect 60 templars to kill many side quests.10

I think this will happen.

no because it wouldnt give the companies any reason to improve it next time

10-24-2007, 07:26 AM
Yes it would, do you seriously think game companies only develop games because of the opinions of one game journo?

Gameplay may be an issue if the aforementioned journo doesn't like the combat system, and the game may well be a bit short in some people's eyes.

It will almost definately get a 9, and hopefully an editor's choice (gamespot http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif) but I'm not too sure about a 10. I mean, if the Godly Halo 3 (I hate Halo 3) can only get a 9... what was it .7? Then I doubt that the newcomer AC will be able to get full marks.

i hope your right and better...

but, IGN is not my meter of games, don't get me wrong i like IGN but the only way to know if a game is good is to buy it.

I incredibly highly doubt they will.

Well, first, we haven't seen too much about the sci-fi things, therefore the presentation is still "out there". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Graphics? Sure it looks prett and all, but compared to the best in the market, it isn't anything revolutionary. But they are pretty good for a free-roaming game. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Sound... I don't think that they will give it a ten for the simple reason that they don't like giving out tens. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Gameplay... IGN have loved the climbing mechanics, but they have never been fans of the combat. In every preview they would say, "The combat is a little better than last time, but still tacky". I think they have a personal vendetta. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Lasting appeal would probably get a good score for the simple reason that it's a sandbox game.

Plus the fact that IGN don't look too deeply into some of those things you mentioned.
Ah, well! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Maybe a 9 if we're lucky, but I'm willing to bet in the high 8's. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

EDIT: Plus that's the weirdest way I've ever seen someone spell "does"... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

I'm not sure that it'll get a 10, IGN doesn't give out many of them. However, it's not impossible, nor would it discourage improvement by the developer as (in addition to common sense on any developers part) IGN always has a disclaimer stating that a 10 is not a PERFECT game as no such thing exists, but a game with a 10 rating would be as close to perfect as the developer could get it.

My guess, 9.7-9.8 range

Scyofthegrim or whatever you think a/c graphics are only good. I have never see a game that even comes close to it bar maybe Crisis. You think it will get in the high 8,s I would bet you(if I knew you)20euro/pounds it will get 9.6-10

I couldn't give a flying **** what game sites rate it as long as I'm happy with it then there's no problem. Besides everyone has there own views and preferences. From what I've seen its far better than Halo so deserves a better rating (I do like halo so its a fair comment). high 9's. 9.7 maybe

I agree with Scythe on presentation. We're not really sure how it's gonna be.

Graphics - I'm guessing 10, unless there are any hiccups or glitches.

Sound - Again, I agree with Scythe. I'll guess 9.0

Gameplay - If anything, I think this will be the low point. And the low point on this game doesn't mean "bad." I'll guess 8.5

Lasting appeal - 10, no doubt about it. Finding flags, finding different ways to take out your targets, side quests, and the sheer size of the map.

Overall - 9.1

Regardless of what they give it, I'm sure I'll love it. I've had this thing reserved for well over a year now, and I check up on new updates every day...usually 2 or 3 times, lol.

That i might disagree with. The whole new franchise of gameplay will bash the judges right in the middle of their faces.

10 does seem a bit high.

And anyone would think that correct grammar was censored here or something, I think it's DOES.

10-24-2007, 11:30 AM
Probably a9.5 or something.

There is most likely some issues in the game that they are going to notice.

10-24-2007, 11:36 AM
between 9.5 and 10

10-24-2007, 11:37 AM
No offense, but a 9.7 makes you sound a bit like an Uber Fanboy.

One thing, yes the graphics are very good. But they won't get a ten, or a nine, simply because games look better. Many, many games have a lot better graphics, because they aren't sandbox games and don't have to worry about spreading detail around a whole map... since most games have different 'maps'.

So yeah, I highly doubt it will get a 9.7, My guess is 8.9

Still hope it will be editor's Choice though.

9.5 is good
