View Full Version : Rudder Problems

I have a weird problem and I hope someone can help me.I use a Saitek X45 and when I'm in the game,my rudder control is backwards. If I move left, then the rudder moves right, the peddles corisponde the same.In inputs, left is left and right is right. In Windows controllers, the same left is left and right is right. In another sim I play all is well both rudder and nose wheel steering.Only when I'm in the aircraft does this happen. If anyone has an idea how to correct this I would be most grateful.

Start the game and go to the controls page. Scroll all the way to the bottom and find the section under the "HOTAS CONTROL" heading.

Click in the right column next to "Rudder", move the rudder control right and click apply. Test fly.

Yep, gave me a hard time until I noticed that the game cares about which way you move the controls first when assigning them.
I had my ailerons the wrong way around, so after adding PF to my FB/AEP each time I took off my plane rolled slightly to the right which I wanted to correct with a little left stick and BOOM there I was, a smoking hole in the ground...And it all happened so fast I had no idea where the problem was... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/354.gif

Worst thing of all, that all happened while flying (well, trying to fly... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) online coops with a buddy of mine... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif

Good luck,
