This is cool. I can only assume that somebody from this community will see this, make two planes, and we'll be watching dogfight videos by next summer....

Lawlz, TrackIR for the RC enthusiasts! That's pretty neat, though. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif (<-- Incredible understatement)

That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
I want one!

This coming from someone with near 4000 posts and who plays with computer generated airplanes.

Atleast he's doing something that actually feels real.

Dood, that is pretty cool! Though I would imagine he would have to sit down while doing that, lest he gets a bit disoriented and falls on his bum.

Meanwhile, I sense a great marketing opportunity...

I think they sell a RC plane somewhat similiar but for around $4,000 or more. It definitely doesnt have a camera panning option though! I would seriously buy something like this though. This could be a sport of RC dogfightin too if they put little machine guns on them! Maybe BBs instead!

Now add some sort of a weapon - pneumatically activated gun or whatever - and you'll get the closest you can get to a real dogfight without putting your live in danger. Give time to time and remember my words here. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

"Combat" is an existing event in both control line and R/C and is accomplished by attaching a crepe paper streamer that trails behind the aircraft. The object is to cut the other guys streamer. I'm going to show this to my old man tomorrow. It would not surprise me if, in 4 weeks or less he has a complete rig on one of his huge R/C airplanes (10'+ wingspan). I hope to be the first to fly it thus as he just can't get the reversed horizon that cameras/sims give us.

Lets mod Choctaw's scale MG's to fire BB's, and bring IL2 to life!

I can hear the complaints about the FM's already. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The World Championships for all classes will be televised with individual camera feeds from the combatants. Imagine a big furball of these!http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n206/strider_07/flyinglawnmower.jpg Or a non-powered class http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n206/strider_07/BomberEscort.gif . Really, way cool!!! Thanks for posting it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif Regards, Strider1

I imagine the military would be interested in that sort of thing too.
