The bridges, for sure. It's always bothered me how weak they are. It makes it impossible to use bridges as a mission target, since they are so easy to kill. I mean, I make co-ops where a team has to kill 3 or 4 bridges, not just one, and they do it with no problem, and with jabos. A single plane with a few bombs can take out multiple bridges by itself.

You can put a 50kg bomb in the water next to a concrete/steel bridge, and it will collapse as if made of cardboard.

In real life, you'd need direct hits with a big bomb, maybe many of them, to knock down the same bridge. It'd be completely undamaged by misses or small bombs.

ammo and fuel trains are dangerous things. bridges yes, the bigger and higher ones should be tougher.

btw if u hit a bridge with stuff on, u kill the stuff onit http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

I've read thet steam-engines were very vulnerable even to MG-fire, due to the pressure inside. But simple steel-waggons? They get simply get holes and others, depending on the fright explode http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif boom!

From gun cam footage I've seen, cannon fire was enough to destroy trains, once pierced the boiler lost it's structural integrity and blew up, IMO the trains are fine just the way they are. Of course, it's fun being able to wipe out a bridge with near misses and makes mission building for Jabos a lot more varied but it's not strictly realistic. If bridges were made stronger, there would possibly be too much challenge to destroying them and the number of aircraft that would subsequently be able to carry out the task might be limited as a result. It's a tough one to call, I like smashing up bridges, it's very satisfying but making them tougher would be more realistic.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

It would be good for DCG campaigns if bridges were tougher. They become choke points too easily, because tanks crossing the river naturally draw fire, which usually results in the bridge getting destroyed.
