This is for some people who had ?'s about military simulators in an earlier topic.

"Nicholas Bell - who did the graphics for Point of Attack 2(POA2), a modern ops game by HPS that was received rather coldly - had this to say :

"Now don't laugh too hard, but the military loves POA2. Puts there existing simulators to shame (now that's a scary thought!) Mind you - they don't _PLAY_ POA2, they use it as a testing simulation. So good, HPS has received additional contracts."
Wargame development funded by the USAF - maybe an idea for other developers, but it's certainly not new - Major H's Tacops (Battlefront) has had a military and civilian edition for the better part of a decade, but it's nice to see the US defence budget isn't all spend on beans and bullets."

This was from a post on the wargamer.N. Bell has been involved with creating etc. wargames for many years.

I wan to see a simulator depicting wht life in the military is really like. My first Version would be called USAF Deployment Processing:The Wait Begins

You basically wake up in the middle of the night, go to your squadron, sit around for 3 hours staring at the walls. Then you load all your Bags onto buses(whata fun game). Then you go to War Readiness and pick up weapons, flak Jackets, A and C Bags. Yhe fun Part is juggling all these new items while still carrying your personal Bags. A neat little game-within-the-game would be when you need to pallatize your bags and stack everything up 6 feet high while diffrent idiots keep adding the wrong bags in the wrong places while the pile collapses and you have to start over. Next, Process through endless lines for 3 more hours, and when you're done sit around 2 more hours. Finally go out to your plane and sit on it for 2 more hours becuase the plane unexpectedly broke.
And now while you fly so many hours, get some sleep becuase when you land you process for 4 more hours and dont expect to get a bed. NO, No, No; it's time to work your 12-16 hour shift.

The Expansion Pack will be called Fixing Planes in MOPP 4: Dont fall
down the Flight Stair Ladder
