This Wednesday, 7 Dec, marks the 64th anniversary of the surprise attack by the forces of the Empire of Japan against the US forces on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. This brought the US into a war on two fronts, the PTO and ETO, and the world was changed forever. In recognition of this event FNATF will be conducting a Pearl Harbor Reenact within the limitations of IL2 DF Mode on Friday, Dec 9th. The Axis (IJN) forces will be carrier borne and will be attacking Pearl Harbor and other targets. The USAAF will be launching P-40's to try and stop the IJN. For the purposes of this mission the Team flying as IJN will be targeting a designated cruiser moored on Battleship Row. This is due to the light armament capability of the IJN Aircraft. The IJN will be given a 5 min head start to simulate a surprise attack. The USAAF will be taking off from Halaweia Airfield to try and prevent the IJN Forces from sinking the target carrier. All A/C will be historical: IJN- A6M2-21's and D3A Vals; USAAF- P-40E Warhawks & P-40B Tomahawks. As per usual Red Team will fly Allied first round and Blue team will fly allied 2nd round. Hope to see everyone make it and I am sure that it will be an immersive experience to be enjoyed by all.

Mission will begin at the standard time- 9 PM EST. To sign up reply to the post in the FNATF Forum:
