i been working on this idea for almost 5 years, originally it was a cfs2 idea but i been working on a il2 version. it would simulate the war in the pacific, with various countries and squadrons, using il2/46 for flight ops and other programs for ground and naval warfare. its i huge undertaking and i have 5 full notebooks of notes and research. i am thinking of finally trying to get it in the working stage, but want to know if there would be enough interest for the massive amount of time and effort it would take. also anyone that knows alot about web/il2 info exports, i would love to talk to you.

thank you all

I have seen a couple people post topics on this board about online war replications they were going to do--I think there was one recently about the Finnish Continuation War.

Pappy, if you have that much research at your hand, here is the place to go, they will love you.

There is a campaign noticeboard, perhaps you should post a bit about your ideas, and see which squadrons are interested. You will not be able to run an online war without squadrons participating in force.
