You cannot as you cant get into the code to do it due to the planes all being hard coded into the game, its not like MicroDrosses sims, in a good way it keeps up the quality of the flight models etc, the other way it limits the games market appeal for longevity........ think of Microdrosses flight sims, they still command high prices new because the amount of free add ons etc to update the game due to its open architecture keeping it up to date with landscapes, aircraft, airports etc, this has not got that appeal so the price drops quicker as it dates.

I thought this had been done a couple of times allready. Selected users send in their work, Oleg checks it for accuracy and if time is available implements the plane and its flightmodel in an upcoming patch. Since the patches are free that should fullfill your second point.

Since Oleg still keep the patches coming I see nothing wrong with this approach. It keeps the quality high and allows everyone to play the same version.
