It took me about 7hrs and just in 5hrs I got up to 65% And my friends say that they only beat it in a day or one day and a night. How long did it take you to beat the game?

I feel ashamed now, I play it on PC, haven't read up on the cheat book and got in November, it's taken me 3 months and I am still at 83%. It sucks I know, but I'm still having fun playing it. I'm also playing Warrior Within so it kinda gets in the way from me completing Sand of Time.

@ ringnebula: I wish I had played it 'ickle slower the first time round, would have enjoyed it more IMO, rather then being obssessed with seeing the ending http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
Enjoy it while it lasts!

People should clarify what they mean by time.
If they start their game at 8 AM Saturday morning and finish their game at 1 PM Saturday afternoon of the same day, they completed the game in five "clock hours" or five "physical hours".

The best "game time hours" in which I have completed the game was over five hours and thirty four minutes which took maybe two or three physical days to complete.

I played the game for the first time for about one month before completing it.

Some of the "speed" involves avoiding some of the fights. You do not have to fight everyone. There are certain "milestones" that you must complete; but some fights I fought just to ensure I had a gave save point available to me.
My computer unexpectedly crashed a few times while playing the game. I wanted as many save points as possible to minimize from how far back I would have to restart after a crash.
I believe that most of the problems are related to the video card.

It took me a bit over 12 hours game-time wise. In real-time it was a matter of weeks. Maybe a month? I only have an hour or two to play each day. I'm a mommy with two little ones, so nap time is my fun time! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It took me 20 hours I think, but then again, videogames are not my strongest side..eheh

I'm at the last save point(98%) in 3 hours and 35 minutes. I didn't get any life upgrades or get any extra sand tanks and just speed through the battles with the fast-forward and only had to kill eight guys to get it.

4:48 Game time. Took me 7 hours the first time around. That's with the battles and taking the time to get sand clouds and life uprgrades. I think you're cheating yourself if you don't get everything.

speedruns is great fun!

on SOT, i'm working on beating 2hrs and 5 min....

so far, it's done for me in 2hrs and 12min....

no fighting before getting the dagger and only fighting in need...
A great friend for big and needed fights is the power of haste....

That is probably game time.
How much actual "clock time"?

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif ...wow. I haven't tried speeding through it cause I love my precious magic fountains and sand clouds, but now I have something to aspire too! ^.^

My time (4 h) was game-time. In real-time, a couple days, I think.

i finished it in 7 hours 58, during about 10days (of course not the whole day :-) ). Quite a record for me given the fact that i don't play games! I did play the original prince of persia years ago, with my dad, and enjoyed it a lot that time... Some months ago I discovered the original version on the internet and immediately started playing it again; i just love that one... It was then that i noticed that the prince had modernised and so i ended up playing SOT! It's just great with the graphics and stuff... The toughest battle - without a doubt - is the one at 14% and the one right before the elevator.

I think the toughest battle is the one right before you reach the hourglass chamber! When you are in the smal room that ceeps going up like an elevator. Or not that I die, but I can't ceep the monsters away from Farah, at least that was a problem the first times I was there. But it was also the funniest fight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I've beaten the game in 6 hours, and I was in no hurry then, I spent a lot of time looking at the beatiful enviroments, talking to Farah e.t.c.
I'm positive that I could finish this game MUCH faster if I didn't do all that!
But I don't want to race through this game just for the sake of it,, I enjoy it far too much! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I got this game for Christmas and still not finished! I don't play it everyday though. Personally, I think it spoils the fun if you beat it too quickly. I get frustrated and take a day or 2 off then I can figure things out. WW looks much harder though.

It took me around 6 hours to finish it the first time, and of course I wasn't rushing to it.
But then the second time, it took me longer because I just wanted to enjoy all the views and hear all the Farah-prince talks that I missed, especially the ones in which you stare at Farah and she says different things, depending on how far in the game you are.
I listed all those things somewhere, I think in the Farah appreciation thread in the off/topic forum some time ago.
Then the third time I think I finished it in 5 hourshttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Now I am playing it for the sixth time, just for the fun of it, it is such a gorgeous game.
WW took me longer, it's a longer game, yes and a little more difficult, I kinda lost my patience once or twice the first time through the game.
The second time, everything got a lot more easier, I beat all those foes a lot quicker than the first time (experience, I guess http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif).
But WW lacks the addictive charm that SOT has.
SOT is the one I play for pure enjoyment http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I have apsolutely no idea how much it took me to finish it, but all I know - it was a very, very short time!I was kinda dissapointed to found out that it was such a short game!Anyway, I hope the next part will be even longer http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Are you going to try to play it some time without "the trainer" (whatever that is)?

Trainer is like a cheat....just all put up together http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I agree, to truly experience this wonderful game, you need to play it as its meant to be played http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
