View Full Version : CH Flight Sim Yoke + Rudder Pedals - Settings & Drift?

Hi everyone, I had to do a reinstall of FB+AEP. I am now using a USB CH Products Flight Sim Yoke + CH Products Rudder Pedals. I typically fly the P51-D. Can anyone provide some hints/suggestions on what controls they map to their joystick keys?

Also, for some reason, the planes tend to drift really bad. I tried calibrating the devices, but no change. The controllers do NOT do this with other sims (i.e., Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004). I found that once I set FB to use no rudder pedals, the plane flew extremely stable with little or no drift. So, my conclusion is something is wrong with my rudder pedal settings. Can anyone offer me any advice or suggestions, please??? It has been very frustrating trying to get this figured out... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

i use ch pedals and do not have a "drift" problem .. have you calibrated the pedals? what device are they listed as in FB ??

as far as teh yoke goes .. i would be inclined to put throttle prop pitch and either flaps (if you fly a hurri or spit)or elevator trim on the sliders As for the buttons ... gear, radiator,POV up-down, toggle icons or padlock are all good choices
