I would suggest you go through the software and try to find what works best for you. One guy's perfect setting may be another guy's clumsy, inefficient, awkward mess. The MS software is easy to use... You might also considewr mapping one button to the CTRL key so you can change some of the commands in FB to reflect the addition of the CTRL key, that way you can increase your buttons considerably. In FB having the flexibility to control as many facests of flight as possible is the best way to go. You might also consider this..http://store4.yimg.com/I/saitekusa_1748_180031

At $39 it is a steal and in conjunction with the MSFFB2 it is a very poerfull tool that will multiply your enjoyment of the sim immeasurably. You can use both sticks in FB..just dont try to use the X&Y axii of the Saitek stick. Keep that on the MSFFB. You can however use the buttons on the X45 to thier fullest.

Wow Bearcat, did'nt know you could do that. Im not sure how it would work. I have the Thrustmaster Afterburner and it has the HOTAS setup. I love the stick. Now I just bought FB and I need to map the mixture, prop and supercharger settings. I wish I had more buttons on my Afterburner.
