Hey guys,

I hope that now, you know who Corey May is. He is our beloved scriptwriter on AC2, and he cares a lot about what you think.

I often got mails or messages with errata and info to share with you because he found something in the forums.

Well he has wrote a really nice article that you can find here on IGN (http://blogs.ign.com/UbiAssassinsCreed/2009/10/15/130603/)

And I highly recommend it, and not only because I like him http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

It deals about narrative in AC2 of course

!!!!!

Awesome Article! 40 year span? I like it. But I'm wondering how old Ezio will be at it's start, 16? 18? 20? I think being 18 would fit more into it. But I like what I've read so far. Can't wait for more http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Interesting. What were the nine other locations the team considered?

Can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure you start the game at 17

Yeah 17 would fit into the game well. I bet he's being married to that one girl we see him kissing at that point or somthing but who knows. I really wonder how we'll be opened up to the story of Ezio. How much will we learn about his charactor and for how long during these memories. Only time will tell sadly(sadface)

Don't multi-post, use the 'Edit' function.

Also, try to post on topic. This thread isn't for questions like that. You may want to ask them here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/4001069287/p/1). However, we know that you still can not ride a horse or carriage into the cities.

hmm i wonder if the 40yr span includes *small spoiler* the brief part we play as a newborn http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You can't ride horses in the castle... As a matter of fact there is a surprise scene by the end of the game, I just played it yesterday, in involve horse, guards, a castle and my sword...

It was fun http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

They say you start with Ezio as a baby. You'll have to kick with his feet and so on...

I can imagine how that would start out. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uleF86oOkcQ)

True story...odd mini game at the beginning of the game with the whole kicking feet thing. Also, read an article that hints at future female assassins, or at least the opportunity to select your gender...I personally think the post civil war wild west would be a really cool setting for future creed games

Those WW2 articles are meanlingless. They all misquote an Assassin's Creed developer. Disregard them.

Thanks, Cory and Atmon. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm glad that this game spans such a long time. At first I thought we were only going to see Ezio at the age he was at in the first covers and presentations, which was totally cool, but the progression through his life is going to be so much more awesome.

You guys are pretty much mind readers when it comes to what the fans want.

While I (and many with me) would really like to know the other 8 options, I highly doubt we'll get to hear them so they have more options left for AC3 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Much respect to Corey May, wish I was a script writer, not to mention for a Triple A series like AC.

Oh btw, I see people talking about what might be the time period / location for AC3. Across the forum I have seen things mentioned like Japan (Edo era, around 1600 iirc) and WW2.
The main thing an AC title needs is climable buildings. Japan's architecture in that time didn't exactly scale up, apart from Fortresses, so no interesting climable buildings.
In WW2 the main weapons were guns, and you wouldn't have very interesting fights anymore.
