Sounds impossible, but please report back how it works.
It can only be for people with the fastest connections and comps?
People I know with fast connections and systems still experience some lag or stutters online.
100 players equals many who connects and disconnects and usually that seems to cause the hickups.

Good luck anyway

if someone could post the i.p. to join ...im away now.

so far we had it up to about 35 and zero lag. first server i flew in H.L. like it. it has 5 times the bandwidth of the biggest HL servers so hopefully it should hold up with 100. crossing fingers on that number

Five times the bandwidth eh? That means you have a 50megbit unmetered server. Lets see that cost must be about 2500.00 US a month.

It depends where your server is http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif In japan it might be much lower

I joined your server today , no lag but the planeset is **** right corny ..look most people prefer historic plane matchups , not the same oddball planes for both sides . thats kid **** http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

we are planning on hosting historical plane matchups on our FR server, which is being set up right now.

We want to mix it up with the arcade server, which is the one up already, named AFJ=Dedicated on hyperlobby (name subject to change soon). We are still working on it, as well as on the maps. We are open to all kinds of suggestions. I'm also tryin to get the guys to host a community map night, so your own maps can be hosted on our fast server.

I already set up a gmail account for all of you to submit your maps, send em over at
fighterjocks.servers [at] gmail [dot] com

Bear with us for a while. Stats are coming, as well as some other sweet stuff.

yes like RSM said we are fine tuning the server and just threw up those maps immediately. we like to put in a couple historical maps on the pitoff server also but with a decent sized planeset.

any recommendations can be put here for pit on and pit off servers. please specify which you are talking about.

REGARDING LAG...the consensus from pilots all over the world so far is ...zero lagg. due to the huge down and upload capacity.

and we wont implement any changes that chase off most pilots. any changes need to be accepted by a majority of pilots.
