RUb for realism or IUb for more of a game and eyecandy slant.

I use RUB. My installed mods are listed at the bottom of my SH3 FAQ page (http://www.theavonlady.org/thesh3faq/).

Ail's mods are great, especially the smoke mod is beautiful. It make sinking ship even more fun! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I am very light on the mods but there are 4 that I always use.

These are not big game play mods like RUB. In order of importance to me with most important first.

1) Keychange mod so that the enter key set TC to 1 and ctrl+enter fires torps. No more accidental torp shots after that mod.

2) Transparent Torp Management Backround. I use this mod while loading torps at 64x TC. It lets me see where I am going at the same time.

3) Readable dials mod. I don't need it but it is nice and I am used to it.

4) Torp loadout mod (Wolfies tweaks). I have the default loads for each sub set to something I like. 1940 all electric. (I am not a fan of the steam torps.)

4b) I gave the type II 3 reload torps because it is my understanding that they could have 3. Not really important since I don't stay with the Type II for very long.

Hey Avon Lady, I didn't know you made an SH3 site like your Operation Flashpoint one! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif Nice... I remember your OF site was very useful because like this game, it didn't have much of a manual. I also liked your photos of that museum with all the captured Syrian BMPs and other assorted armor...excellent. Thanks for that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Back on topic: I use the Lapdancing mod, you know where the Chief Engineer has a dress on and dances around the pole in the command room? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
