Yes.
But of course you've got to create the proper files and the folder at the right location youself. Just do it after the example of 4.07 and don't forget to change the .bat-file.

I think there is a 4.071 upgrade to the switcher. If not, it would be easy enough to make one.

When you "install" the switcher, I believe that it imports the 4.04 and 4.05 files.sfs (and puts them in their own subfolders) but copies the 4.07 files.sfs. So, whatever version of the game you are using, that files.sfs will be copied to the 4.07 folder that is created by the switcher. For this reason, it would be best to apply the switcher before you apply the 4.071 patch.

After you run the switcher and have established a good 4.07 subfolder and .bat program, then you can make your own 4.071 switcher. Start by making a copy of the "FB ver 07.bat" file in the game folder and paste it to your desktop. 'Edit' it with notepad ... look for the part that says: il2_ver07xcopy *.* and change it by adding a " 1 " after the " 7 " (it will now read: il2_ver071xcopy *.* ). Close, save, and rename your new .bat to " FB ver 071 " and then move it back to your game folder.

Inside the game folder, now make a new subfolder and name it il2_ver071. The easiest way to do this is to simply copy your 1l2_ver07 folder and rename it. Then apply your 4.071 patch to the game, and copy the files.sfs to your new 4.071 subfolder. The patch only has one file that overwrites anything in the game folder ... and as you can guess, it is the files.sfs file.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
