Are you saying you're expecting SH3 to be cheaper if the swatiskas are not displayed?

Sorry, but I doubt that this is going to happen.

no sorry, I'm looking for reproductions of the 1957 reissue of german wwii medals which had the swastika removed.

Ah, okay - hm, where do you come from. We have "militia"-markets here sometimes, selling medals and stuff. I'm quite confident you'l find something like that on these occasions.

And did you try ebay http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

why on earth would you want reissued debadged german medals?
i mean even if you do live in germany, you are allowed to collect medals with a collectors permit?

i have quite a good collection from germany a total of 6 or so medals including
iron cross 1 and 2 knights cross, pilots badge, cavarly badge and the pride of my collection is an SS ring, plus some others,,,i do also have some allied stuff aswell, just to keep things in perspective.
i hope to be able to retire off that ring somedayhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

What's wrong with collecting denazified medals?

I am involved with WPL, and it is our policy there not to use the swastika. I was thinking up some prizes for a contest I am thinking about, I thought the reissued 1957 would make a good prize, and still be in keeping with our policy.

I could use the 1870 and/or 1914 Iron Crosses, and was considering the Grand Cross for the Knights Cross.

nothing wrong with collecting chicken bones either, cant see you making any profit out of it thoughhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
seriously i was curious,,,didnt know they were popular.
didnt really know about the forums policy on nazi stuff and i know it can still stir up trouble with some folk.
i play alot of WW2 stuff such as IL2, combat mission,SH2 etc etc and i just like historical content,to each his own
any offence incurred was not intended

@ ace: How much did you pay for the knight cross?

Not really interested in medals, but I found a replica of the u-boat badge in a street market.
According to the seller, it's currently produced in Poland.
