I used photoshop 7 and did a bit of editing: contrast, saturation, blur, etc.. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

And here's the original picture taken directly on LCD monitor with my digital camera.

Great "photos", especially the first one./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

To bad 1C had to use high tension power cables for the antenna wire, since it would be hard to tell it was not a real photo.

taking the shot straight off your monitor seems like it actually makes it look more realistic.

nice job!! If you made it black and white, put swastika on it and could edit down the cable somehow, I think you'd have something not far off a real photo.

You do know that you can just hit printscreen, open paint and then paste the entire screen and save it?

taking an actual picture of a screen is like going west to get somewhere 5 miles east.

You are seriously taking photographs from a screenshot? WEIRD http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Do a litte research, you'll find that you can get some brilliant effects from digital camera captures.

Check out VonTom's artwork and his methodology <a href=http://www.JG11.com/><img border="0" alt="III/JG11 Homepage" src=http://users.bigpond.net.au/hobnail/jg11.jpg> (http://www.froggy.com.au/tomharradine/il2>here</a>.

Nice)

Thats no videogame screenshot o_O

I got it! he has two FW-190's in his backyard, and he flew them and took that photo real-like.

heh heh

wow, this really shows just how much the FB graphics rock. I mean, I woulda thought that was a photo if nobody had told me.

Saturation is really the key to it all. I do 3D animation as a hobby (mainly when I get bored of my background and need a new one then I just make one myself, helps stave off boredom) and I always tweak my pics with Photoshop. Toning down the saturation really makes things like less perfect and more realistic. Great job on the pic!

very nice work.

The first one looks almost like a real "colourized" picture from the 40's-

Thanks,

Gee, that sounded really snobbish didn't it?

Dude....C'mon!

You know damn well I said, "I'd hit" not "I hit".

Why you trying to make look like a doofus?

Quoting requires a certain level of attention to detail.

S!
