Try Zekes vs Wildcats for Pacific theatre, and Spits vs 109's for European theatres.

Settings for both are full real, and they are well populated during European and North American hours.

Nice folks too!

I beleive he said Coop servers. Which spits v 109 etc are NOT, correct?

I too would love to know of some good coop servers. Especially a dedicated coop server, if such a thing exists.

A few dedicated co-op servers certainly exist, here is a list of them with some more info on them (like difficulty settings, TS and other details):

And you can bet that they are a huge change from dogfight servers. They are different though, so one needs to be a bit more patient to get the hang of them. On the other hand, the regular crowds are also good, just make sure to ask about things, when you are unsure.

PS. Here is a nice "postcard" from a regular player on the 102nd COOP server:

And here are the teasers for the upcoming "open for all" SEOW campaign the guys are arranging for Wednesday nights (european time):

Ah, true. I fly cooperatively more that D/F style, I forget that they are D/F!

Still, they are VERY mission oriented, and many pilots are also on TS, so it would qualify as COOP for me....

I don't want to disappoint you Rattler, but DF server is never even close to CO-OP missions.

Even if the atmosphere is cooperative on a dogfight server, as you say, you are still missing out on the best that IL-2 as a game can offer - huge bomber formations (20+), re-playing missions of historical accuracy (like the Yamamoto shootdown), moving tanks enrolling into attack, moving truck convoys leaving dust behind them, etc.

I'm going to give that a try rnzoli; see how it works out.

Sure, feel free to come along either alone, or with a friend or two, and remember that a co-op server is never empty (AI takes empty slots).

To give you an overview of the 200+ cooperative missions on the 102nd_COOP_ded, take a look at the mission sets available: http://161.53.204.25/Server/cmirko_mission_briefings/index.htm

IMHO 242Sqn_Chap, who made/adapted those missions did an incredible job.

I don't know. I have been a part of 10+ bomber formations in the Zekes vs. Wildcats server many times with an escort flight to boot, on their TS server & working together. I believe you have been in there while we were at it a time or two yourself eh Rattler? I do appreciate you helping to provide escort for us for sure m8. Of course not a coop in many respects as we were tasked with destroying the enemies carriers most of the time. But some great teamwork nevertheless.

Feel free to join up with us on the 99th coops hosted nightly on HL. We use limited distance icons usually, but they are tight.
