I'm looking for a good squad to join one that would be a good fit for me.

I really love flightsims and while I'm definetly no ACE, but I'm working hard to get better. I like to gobble up any theoretical information (SimHQ, Shaw's Fighter Combat, and others) and practice online and offline to improve my skills. I take my little hobby pretty seriously with a new computer just for FB with a HOTAS+pedals+TrackIR+voice coms. I would love to join a squad that would help me to grow as a virtual pilot and to have a good time. I want to fly online and use voice coms to fly as a team. I typically fly on weekends but I sometimes fly after work on week days. I'm based auto of USA Austin, TX and I'm a 25 year old software developer. If you think I might fit in your squad send me an email at snoopbaron@email.com I'd be happy to answer your questions or try out online.

Sincerely,

Snoop Baron

Just wanted to make it clear that while I'm not the best pilot out there I'm not a newbie either so you won't have to spend any time on the basics or even a lot of the advanced techniques. I can beat the ace AI and usualy get atleast a couple of kills per game online and sometimes I'll even have the highest score although there are many reasons for that http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. But I know I have a lot of room for improvement since IL2: FB is the first real sim that I've spent a significant amount of time playing offline let alone online which I have only been doing recently. But I'm the kind of person that once they get into something really works at it and does everything he can to get more http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

If you like Jugs the 361st doesn't look bad. It's "lost sheep " approved

The 352ndFG seems to fit your desires perfectly. As long as you are interested in having fun and flying with a bunch that is always trying to get better, you may want to look at our web site and decide for yourself. We are located at:

We fly on Thursday and Sunday evenings at 9PM EDT and use teamspeak for our comms program.
If you are interested after looking at our web site, send me an email and I'll arrange for you to fly with us and see if we are what you are looking for.
