Forums. Since all information from us has to go through our current publisher, we have decided not to have a forum on this site. However, we are genuinely interested in the community and will monitor the discussions on the official forums.

For our current project, we refer to the official forums, keep the constructive threads going!

I wouldn't count on an answer. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

hmm, if GRIN devs aren't going bother making their own forums, the least they can do is make accounts in this forum so we can communicate with them.

Did I misunderstand their original statement or doesn't that mean that everyhing they would say has to go through UBI?

Hey, but it would be a nice gesture, wouldn't it? Look at HangTown and UbiRazz: everything they say has to go through UBI as well, but at least they have accounts here on these forums so that in the event that they DO have info to tell, they can do so here. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

They already have accounts here and on gr net but you wont get an answer.

They have certain contractual rules that must not be broken.

Some minor info.

"I know the RSE deviation and the console focus has put many of us fans off but trust me when I say we know what we are doing and UBI has made a wise choice.

In short my team is dedicated to the PC experience and going tactical with GR3. I'm leading a group of very skilled people and we are right on schedule.

Myself I'm a former Special Forces operative so I bring a reality check to the table."

This should clear up a couple of points.

telling you if they played or how much they played GR1 has nothing to do with any NDA or not being allowed to talk.

They're allowed to tell us how much they've played the original if at all, they can tell us what colour shirt they are wearing, and no UBI can't prevent them from telling us their ***** size either.

It's a simple case of not caring, at the end of the day everyone will get paid, why try?

no worries, no offense taken http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I agree with Serb, the devs are certainly free to tell us if they have played GR1, and knowing that they played it and loved it as much as the fans did certainly wouldn't harm the development of GR3. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This news further reassures me that putting our trust in GRIN is a wise choice http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif The first step GRIN did to earn my faith and trust was dropping "easter-egg" surprises on their site and cleverly acknowledging the popular "GR Classic" movement. Just continue doing what you're doing, GRIN http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I completely understand why devs won't post in a forum. I mean, if you give someone a finger, they'll soon want the entire hand - and then when it turns out you don't have the time or isn't allowed to provide all that people then demand of you, people are gonna thing you're a d*ck.
Therefore, it's better not to open that door at all.

you're overdoing it, guys... they said they're fans and they said they'll keep an eye out. if you want to be taken serious maybe you should give the devs some space. unless you have no life and every littlest piece is like major progress to you that is...
