Is any one else having problems with the new drivers from nvidia, like parts of aircraft are invisible ? door gunner port on betty is invisible and i can see threw ac and also cockpit paneling that hold glass together is missing from a good few aircraft,so it looks as tho there isnt anything holding the panels together, also wing tip is missing on some aircraft, i have had same problem about a year ago with older drivers on different pc and i was wondering if any one else is having same problem with them drivers ?

It seems that both IL2 Forgotten Battles and Pacific Fighters supports SLI:

Try posting in the correct forum and you may get an answer.

I would try the 66.93's. Best for FB/PF Ive found.

Just got myself an ASUS 9999 (nVidia 6800). Saw the same problems scotsman's refering to.

This entry in the conf.ini file solved the problem:

Getting fps from the low 50's and up now, no missing parts, water=3 etc, etc, etc. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Redwulf, I would try and find a driver which works properly, because what you just did limits your game to using shader version 1.0 which is the first very basic shader on the geforce 3/4.

You want to be using all the shaders on your 6800 I presume, in which case find a older driver which works correctly.

I agree with you Xiolablu, setting ForceShaders1x is only a temporary measure. Getting a driver that works properly with FB/PF is of course the right way.

I tried it 'cause it was rather frustrating that after shelling out good money (after my trusty 9800 pro gave up on me) my new card behaved 'crappy' to say the least. Gave me some temporary 'peace of mind' while investigating further on.

Drivers that support 7800's have this 'feature', users with 6000's however can use earlier drivers, but that will not help if they have other games that require newer drivers.

There are a couple of threads on this issue on the Community Help (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/4231010643) forum.

I posted this (http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=6929) at nVidia's forum:
