I have an USB joystick
Are game port rudder pedals compatible with an USB joystick?
Can both type of peripheals be used at the same time in IL2-PF?
Need help
Thank you

You'll find that if they're not directly comapatable through your game port, you can still plug them in through a USB/Gameport converter.

Then just map that axis to the rudder controls within the game.

I'm using CH Pro gameport pedals with the USB converter-like $6 at Radio Shack, BUT i've heard that this doesn't work on all systems. & I've not seen any explantion why. ??

Never had any problem with my pedals, never heard of anyone having problems running like this, so I can't answer that.

You will need a cheap gameport joystick to make the rudders work. I have thrustmaster elite gameport rudder pedals and the only way to get them to work was buying a cheap ($5-7) joystick and hooking it up. You will be able to calibrate the rudders via the controller ("2 axis joystick w/rudders").

For some reason it will only work with the cheapo joystick... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hope this helps!!
