Salute, all!

Shortly after Thanksgiving here in the States about 5 years ago I was wandering through a computer gaming store at a local mall. There I found a copy of the original IL2 for sale. It was a great game and got me rehooked on flight sims. Since then, every new version, patch and update has found its way to my computer, and I've also updated computers just for the series.

Ok, since shortly after the very first release of IL2 the community has been waiting for the next game or patch or update. Nothing has changed! The game just gets better and better. Any given night there can be up to 1000 or more junkies on Hyperlobby.

We are all fortunate that Oleg and crew continue to support this game. Like all of us, I'm waiting for the next update, and the next, and then BOB after that. My feelings, though, on BOB are mixed as I'll have to upgrade my computer.

My point is for us just to be patient. Nothing has changed. It's still "two weeks" till the release of the next patch, and Oleg still is not giving us the information we want when we want it, like now!

Two weeks, for sure! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hopefully I'll be able to use our Labor Day weekend to practice my flying skills. See you in the skies!

Baylor used to post quite a bit but there've been a couple of forum software updates that resulted in the loss of many posts off post counts for long term users. I've probably lost about 12,000 off my count http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks all. I originally joined the Forums shortly after IL2 was first released. I have not been posting much lately but mainly lurking. I guess I could get busy again.

TigerTalon, you can add nearly two years to that, this is not my original account. I had a a few hundred posts on an account that no longer exists at all and about 7500 on my old mainstay Tully_78th (Posts: 21 | Registered: Sat February 16 2002) so not all those posts went missing from the Nov 2003 to present period.
