Not even in that virtual world. I guess you can blame the co-driver, was he asleep? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

If I had a Porsche, I'd sell it and buy a Spitfire.

Definitely, he should plug in the joystick or wheel BEFORE driving.

If I had a Porsche
I'd drive it in the morning,
I'd drive it in the evening,
All over this land!

I'd drive it for justice!
I'd drive it for freedom!
I'd dirve if for love and peace
For my Brothers and my Sisters,
All over this land!

and no, I wouldn't let you drive it!

I didn't look at the Porsche game video. Went back and took a look. It was hilarious. Reminded me of my first and only time in a go-cart when I was about eight. Totally screwed up.

Yea,this is just every noob`s first time driving a car in the game. And the point is?

I stopped watching a 3rd of the way in.

By the way, in Esel1964`s film, I noticed there`s a redlight about the wheel that flashes sometimes. Is that a custom indicater for his brake lights?

Sent it to a multi-millionaire friend who drives a Porsche. He loved it. I love it because I know that's what would happen if I ever tried to drive one. Some guy in Florida bought an ultra-hot car and crashed it into pedestrians practically right out of the dealer's lot. Killed a woman, unfortunately.

If I had a Porsche......

I'd be thinking that i should have spent the money on an Aston Martin http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

It's not an Aston, but this is one of my rides, plus my mileage car in the background...

If someone gave me a Porcshe, I'd give it to you and then I'd go out and buy a new Honda! Looks and performance ain't it for me, reliability and economy are it for me. No, I don't get as many chicks that way but the ones I get are less crass, materialistic and superficial anyway!!

Porsches are great if you have the money to spend on a flashy but unreliable vehicle. German cars use a lot of oil and I've have 400,000 miles worth of Hondas in the last 15 years and have never even checked my oil level stick. And my oil change people always report the oil level full or maybe a 1/4th of a liter/quart down from full upon their initial check before changing the oil. And I go 5000 or 6000 miles between changes on synthetic oil. Hondas, if well maintained will neither burn much nor leak oil, not ever.

Fair comment mortoma. Japanese cars are undoubtably reliable - as are their bikes - but there again I collect Ducatis instead of Japanese fours. Ducs are not as reliable - but they do give me more enjoyment than a Jap four would. I know because I've owned a few as well. It's about passion as well as transport. I guess similar to the way we feel about prop planes over jest...

I will always buy a machine based on it's looks and how it makes me feel over it's practical resume. It sounds mad - I feel almost silly writing it, but life is too short and I enjoy the passion of life over utility and practicality.

I do have a friend whos Honda just blew up on him though... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif They're still just a machine. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Wow, that was great driving.

I have the same question as SeaFire...what's the blinky red light?

I would imagine that driving "virtually" would be similar to flying virtually in the sense that you don't feel g's or the sense of stalling (or skidding), so driving at high speeds would require being really focused on visual cues only.

I think blinking red light advises of traction loss.
