Hello to you pilots out there. First i wantred to thank the makers for making this game and giving me so much pleasure flying. But here goes...i got three questions concerning the new addon

Question I
In forgotten battles i was able to record my multiplay missions and watch them back later. If i do this now and try to load the track it just stops at 100% and nothing happens. Is this a common issue?

Question II

when someon'installs PF and want's to play with or against me will he be able to join me allthough i installed il2 + fb + PF?

Question III

what's the use of opening the canopy? or is this just for kicks?

1) I have noticed this bug. It seems that you cannot watch tracks with ships in.. I have no idea why though.

2) No they cannot.

3) yes for $h1ts and giggles... oh and for good screenshots too

ehm thanks for the fastest response ever http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
So i can make tracks as long there are no ships involved?

I thought that opening the canopy also slows your plane down, at least - that's what the manual said (yeah this is probably the first game of which I really started reading the manual http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

LOL, i never read manuals, i know i should but this is a lot easier. Especially with guys (or girls) like Megile which respond within seconds after you post http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

hmm, how about you can open the canopy so you can raise and lower your seat without bumping your head on it? Bit more than just for giggles

Really, Recon? How? I didn't read anything about it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

I just re-tested, and it seems you can't watch ANY online tracks... shame realy, I hope they fix it in the first patch.

Yes Recon, for the few planes which you can raise the seat, you MUST open the canopy first. However, for the other planes with no adjustable seat height (P-40, Seafire etc.)... it just looks cool. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
It does slow the plane down, but that isn't very desirable when cruising.. I suppose it could help those "few" which can't slow CSP planes down http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

I must admit, coming in on final, with the canopy open, the breeze in your hair (use a fan), it looks cool http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Megile, I can watch my online tracks, works like a charm. I can see everything that happened, even the chatting!

The manual also says that the downloaded plane skins are stored in the online track. Awesome

Yeah its kinda strange. Some tracks work, and some don't... it must be something in the mission which kills it.. not sure what it is though. I thought it was ships, but I tested and found it wasn't http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

When you don't read the manual, some folks get annoyed at being your personal tutor when you're just too lazy to open the flippin manual and see for yourself. Also, the manual may give you hints as to questions you haven't even thought of asking.

Just read the stupid thing. It will take 20 minutes for Pete's sake. Even I'm not THAT busy that reading a game manual puts me out and I work full time, spend 10 or 15 hours per work week at my Dad's helping him, I'm also building an engine for my car right now, and sometime in between I sleep, buy food, pay my bills, do the dishes and clean my apartment. Oh yeah, I also have time to turn groceries into poop occasionally.

Suck it up and read the instruction book http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
