I recently installed the Il-2 46 and the 4.08m patch, but I don't seem to have all the planes that the pack promises. Just two Axis planes, no Lerche no nothing... Am I missing something here?

yes they are in there, think you have selected a single mission......... thats why you do not see them all.

Oh, OK, so I have to build a mission to see these planes? Is there a '46 guide to play somewhere?

Should be a PDF file in the '46 game folder (installed on your PC) named manual.pdf.

You can build quick missions in the Quick Mission Builder. Depending what map you select, you may not get the whole list of aircraft to pick from.

There is also a free download of Mission Mate that can let you build more complex quick missions.

Good luck!

Most of the action to be had is in multiplayer via hyperlobby.

You are right about that. With so many planes available, it is similar to looking through a big box of loose drill bits, trying to find the particular one that you need. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Remember when you select planes in Quick Mission Builder that the list runs through all of the Allied planes first (in alphabetical order) and then midway starts with the Axis planes.

Also, I don't think you can fly every plane from the Okinawa map in the QMB. Try a different map like Crimea or Moscow.

You can fly every flyable plane on Okinawa, Crimea, Moscow, Pacific Islands, and Smolensk. Its just Coral Sea that restricts you to carrier only.

Good luck! What?!?! Sorry Han freak but you is wrong!! All aircraft are flyable in the first place are available to fly in QMB no matter which map is selected. I have been doing it for years. Every single plane available to fly in the particualr version you have can be flown in QMB, period.

I reckon HFS may be correct Mortoma, try selecting an A20, on the Coral Sea map. The other maps we seem to get all aircraft but Coral Sea seems to be restricted to a/c of that period.

Without writing down every plane to check, I believe IceFire had the best answer. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif
