The reduced turn, climb and speed is a feature, not a bug.

Hmmm... was it overmodelled?

At the risk of ruining a joke, but preventing a zoo...

It's been said, by people who should know, in like 5 threads at least, that the only changes to FM were for the Pe-2 itself.

no FM has been changed except that Pe2 has been added, that is what has been told in here...

I am in the very bad mood today, would you like to continue this topic Megile? My sense of humor is below zero, thanks to some people

The D-9's FM has not changed. I talked to Oleg and he confirmed this, he did however mention there was a small change to the D-9, and this is probably what the confusion is about. He has augmented the ugliness of teh aircraft. In essence, it's ugliness was undermodelled up to 4.04. He has tweaked the visual model, and it's appearance is now historically correct, somewhere between a road apple with a footprint in it, and a week-old dead dog http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

Ivan, save Capt.LoneRanger's pic and use it every time you nuke a posting. It would make this board AWESOME.

I asked a legitimate question. Obviously a great many people who are posting in this topic don't really care about the content and are doing so out of pure boredom. Spamity spam spam. I am genuinely interested in the topic at hand. I don't care whether it has been said that the D9 is overmodelled.

Psst. Almost every plane is accused of being over modelled at one time or another by some fanboy or armchair historian. I have also heard that the Focke Wulf series is undermodelled in several respects.

I can respect that the Dora was taken down a peg to match BEST CASE SCENARIO data taken from actual official testing, as the other aircraft supposedly were- this is why I was asking that question. If the Dora was more or less within 10% of life in the characteristics that were allegedly nerfed before it was messed with, and Oleg (who, might I add, says a lot of things) says that no flight models were touched, this could hint at a system wide variation in flight modelling. Mostly, though, I'm concerned because I chiefly enjoy flying the dora and I would like to know more about this situation.

Kthnx.

I think Megile knew full well that no FMs had been changed and was having a laugh. You can ask serious questions of luncheon meat, but I think you'll find it just fritters away your time.
