how to get the highest detail settings for pacific fighters? i already know about the config.ini file and setting water=4 and effects=2... are there any other settings i can turn up? thanks!

In the conf.ini, change this line:

width=1280
height=1024

to

width=128000
height=102400

What? Must be going to a stadium and playing the sim on a Jumbo-Tron. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

But seriously, water 4, effects 2, hardware shaders on.

Other than that, aniso and AA in your video card settings. I can't think of anything else. IL-2 offers few ways to destroy your performance, besides ship flak.
