Idk if this has been brought up before but I just noticed that in some videos for ACB that sometimes Ezio will only have 1 hidden blade and sometimes he`ll have two. I`m thinking this means that they`ll give us the choice if we want two hidden blades or just the one. What are you thoughts on this?

He lost one in the seige of the villa.

I read somewhere that Ezio has one hidden blade at the start of the game

Yeah but It seems stupid the way you learn everything in II and gather all your equipment and then your losing alot of it and starting over in ACB...

Yes, yes you were.

That`s why I thought it might be a customization thing instead of a "you lost it you have to earn it back" thing.

Okay I read somewhere (I'll try and find a link, not sure where it was) that said you could either equip two hidden blades, or the crossbow and one hidden blade. I'm not sure if this is true, though.

I was told that Gabe said you start off with only 1 hidden blade (of course, not straight away, but probably after the seige.)

I don't think its stupid. I think it would be a poor choice for you to be an awesomely equipped assassin right at the beginning, meaning that you would have earn close to nothing throughout the game (making it feel more of a expansion pack rather than a new game).

I doubt you can customize to the point of changing the number of hidden blades you have. One cool thing is that you can change the D-pad settings, so have Crossbow at the top, sword on the right, Poison at the bottom, and dagger to the left. I'm not sure whether Sackboy got with this, or what he says may be true. Either way, I'm not too fussed. More planning involved if true http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If you were equipped with two hidden blades from the start the first missions would be extremely easy and this way it's better because newcomers will have a nice intro into acb

I understand why they would do it but how are they going to explain it in the game for why you don`t have that second blade anymore? I suppose it could be you lost everything when the villa got invaded.

Maybe you're think of the heavy weapon holster. I dont think you can have a heavy weapon and a dagger at the same time.
It wouldent make sence to not have 2 hidden blades with a cross bow. I don't see how the clash with each other

I have the Game and you start off with only one Hidden blade until you meet up with Leonardo da Vinci...you then have the option of purchasing it...you can also purchase the poison dart and the leap glove because you can't jump because you are still injured after being shot in your shoulder.

I have also heard that you can have 2 blades or 1 and a crossbow, but I have seen many videos with Ezio having 2 blades and a crossbow...
