View Full Version : P-38 confusion

I read the "Final PF Planes List" post but I do have one additional question. It says that the P-38's will be available if you install over FB. Does that mean you have to have AEP installed as well since the Lightning is not part of the original FB package?

I picked up at least the P-51 and A6M2 via a patch but not the P-38. Did I miss a patch someplace or is it only available via AEP?

Just wondering if I'm going to have to get AEP to fly my beloved Lightning. Seems like it should be part of PF since it did have a major presence in that theater.

Thanks for your insight!

You haven't got AEP yet? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Yes, you'll need AEP in order to fly the P-38 in PF.

Any aircraft built prior to the F-4 Phantom II with more than one seat is not a fighter-it's a bus!

I'll have to look into it, but weren't at least the Farman (F.4?) from 1915 the first twin boom types?

I did a lil research....I was incorrect, I confused the Farman for a Caudron, silly me....( those WWI types all look the same, anyhow http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif )

Serval_1Java, sorry to burst your bubble, but that Dutch thing is clearly a dull copy of the one and original twin tail...

Caudron G.IV First flown March 1915

38 in the pto was the f at first, then the later models cleaned house. so, we're missing 1 version of the 38.
