The H-6 is supposed to have an MG17 fixed in the tail with a rear vision mirror above the cockpit. Was it not included due to time constraints or was it an oversight?

Can it be worked into one of the add-ons soon to be released? I would'nt have thought that it would be too hard to incorporate but then again, I'm not a programmer. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

The H6 does have a tail gun. There is no rear vision mirror though. The gun works with AI only. Personally I don`t really care about it because it was fitted to only a handful of aircraft.

If you want to use rear facing fixed guns, I'd suggest you wait for Arado 234 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif.

It is there but AI only, which is a pity.

A handful you say, hmm..Interesting because according to Heinz Nowarra's excellent book on the H-111 it was a standard fitment to all H-6, in fact every picture I have seen of a H-6 has the MG in the tail.
It was removed in later models and didn't exist in earlier ones, and as we all have seen on numerous occasions, it is easy to incorrectly lable a photograph in a reference book and I daresay most editors, publishers and indeed a lot of writers would'nt know a H-6 from a H-4 if you parked them in thier driveway!
I'd hazard a guess that a lot of H-6 that appear in books 'without the MG17' are probably mis-identified.
Oleg wouldn't have included it anyway if the MG17 was not common the to the marque.

I still think that the game is lacking a late war version of the He111. The H-16 would have been the best choice, IMO.

Jumo 211 F-2: 1.350PS
Range with 1.000kg bombs: 2.900km
Max bombload: 3.250kg

A-Stand: MG FF/M plus an additional MG 81 in the top nose section
B-Stand: MG 131 or MG 81Z
C-Stand: MG 81Z
Side gunners: MG 81

And as an option the MG 131 360? turret (http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Bilder/He111/He111H20R3-1%20KG55.jpg)

Hehe, that H-16 would have been fun...

But, Jippo modelled numerous variations of the Ju-88, apparently to the same standard as the Ju-88-A4. Yet there wasn't enough time to include these.

It is something they should pay way more attention to in SoW. Especially when there is no real work needed to include planes. In the case of the He111 there are only minimal changes to the 3D modell, engine cowlings and MG turrets, housings. The flight modell wouldn't need major changes aswell.
