Ok, so someone here suggested I try putting the reflective tape on glasses. The girls said they wouldn't be able to make it over today so I felt it was safe to try it. I dug up my harry potter glasses (that kid is an ace on a broom - must have SOMETHING on a slider I'm sure) and rigged it up with the tape.

As you can see, it didn't work.

You see the problem is that aces like me get to be so good only because we put *everything* into flying - facial contortions, head jerking, eyebrow twitching - you name it. Track IR is built for noobies and not for aces and doesn't allow for these moves. I have reviewed this device fairly but it just doesn't cut the mustard for one of the greatest aces of all time. May work for you guys.

Your right. That wasn't Ray. No wonder it was funny. Glad to see the real Ray is still annoying.

The guy in the red track suit and unibrow IS NOT RayBanJockey. It is "Super Greg", the world's worst DJ and underground cult hero. RBJ just uses that guy's image because he knows it will make a lot of you even more peeved at him than any post could do.

So if you deface that guy in the picture, it's not RBJ you're poking fun at, it's Super Greg.

NOT THE SAME PERSON.

To D-spade:

Point taken, but who cares if it's not REALLY RBJ in the picture? the "real" RBJ (all conspiracy theories aside) has always taken the jokes about his sig in stride (ie: he doesn't bother responding) and he gives as good as he gets (witness his latest series lampooning the TracIR users). He has had other sigs: that singer chick... booooring, SuperG is wayyyyyy funnier; well, 200 posts later it does lose its novelty....

RBJ adds colour to any discussion... I don't think he's anybody's doppleganger (wonder if that will get through the filter /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif .
The funny thing is how he really rubs some people the wrong way! No thread is ever the same after an RBJ post has been made. It's because he (RBJ) always makes absolutist arguments (ie: his rig's components and set-up are the best to run IL2/FB) and all those arguments are based on the supposed authority of being an "online ace"- which he's too chicken (wise? ;P) to substantiate by 1v1 with various challengers.

Frankly I think it's hilarious that this forum has an RBJ phenonmenom: RBJ himself; RBJ supporters (who may or may not be RBJ; Ace.hole definitely isn't- c'mon! it's obviously a mocking parody~!); RBJ bashers; RBJ impersonators; multiple threads dedicated to RBJ related topics! it's really TOTALLY surreal- ergo I love it /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Well, there's my bit bout RBJ- and to him: just keep on being yourself dude, you obviously can take a joke; keep us laughing! And, um... can ya give it up about the trim already?!? it's gettin old.

Cheers all,
Cold_gambler
