~S~ fellow pilots,

Vulture's Row is launching a new campaign based on code previously used for IL-2 but with many enhancements.
If you have taken part in a co-op based IL-2 campaign in the past you may wish to take a look at Vulture's Row Virtual Battlefield (VRVB).

The VRVB will launch on Monday 13th September and we hope you will come out to participate. The first campaign is based on the Odessa map in July 1941.
Only aircraft and tanks appropriate to the period are included.
Since this is a dynamic front co-op based campaign, each mission is flown as "dead is dead". VRVB will use the UltraPack 2.01 mod pack with the War Birds of Prey mod activated.
Settings will be full real, canopy on, except for the use of the Speed Bar which is optional to the pilot.

For all those pilots flying the 4.09m version, don't worry you can easily switch between versions within a few seconds once you install the Ultrapack.
Full instructions can be found in the "War Manual" on our website.

Improved Features can be found here:

In addition to the features above, VR's skilled programmers are constantly working to make further enhancements to the product. The new features will be implemented as they are completed.

If you haven't flown an online campaign you may also want to take a look.
This is a human versus human campaign which will include some AI aircraft.
Each side chooses the type of mission to fly, i.e. supply friendly cities, attack enemy supply, airfields and sector ground attack.
Choose the bombers to accomplish a specific mission. The results of the mission determine the outcome at the front.

Please check out the VRVB web site and look over the "War Manual", the stats and feel free to register when we go live!

Thank you for your attention. Hope to see you in the virtual skies of VRVB.

Not sure yet about joining? Have a look at the participating squadrons here: http://www.vultures-row.com/all_sqds.php
We're 2 days in and over 40 squads are contributing to the war already!!

If you're not part of an established squadron you can still join in!! We have created an LW and Allied squadron for those that prefer to play as solo pilots. This way you can still monitor your statistics.

Looks like another Bellum clone.

AFW uses the most developed version of Dutertre's original campaign code. Overdeveloped in some ways, perhaps...
