What i always wondered : Why are the american flags on your combat clothes all mirrored ? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Yep, I know who he is ... we have the same "War" Patch, worn on the Right Shoulder.

To answer your question, the reason why our emblem Flag is "mirrored" is because the Flag always faces forward in the direction of march, by regulation. So if the emblem flag is worn on the right shoulder then the Star portion has to be facing forward. Imagine our flag in a real parade, wheather you view it from the left or right, the stars are always facing forward.

Your current german flag does not have this problem since it is vertically asymetrical. But your Old DDR flag would have to be mirrored in displays.
