View Full Version : MSFFB2 + old CH analog rudder pedals tech tip

When you install the rudder pedals as second controller (along with an old analog stick) they don't center after calibration - see this by looking in game F2. And you won't see the rudders in the IL2 controller menu either - this menu will still read the twist regardless of the HOTAS settings..

So the tip is when you calibrate the rudders in the windows controller menu - don't push down on the right pedal all the way (or was it the left?). Then check in the test menu - if the red bar is in the middle then you got it. Check and repeat with varying amounts of right pedal movement in the calibrate step. Check f2 view in game for confirmation of full rudder movement and center..

Works slick and avoids $159 new CH USB pedals.
