I understand your busy as hell 1c, but can you please add in a global command that everyone can see online if a user pressed quicktrack record.

%username% has starting recording qntrk
%username% has ended recording

as you know this is the button that causes you to warp on purpose when tapping it, oleg you once said you will consider it but seems you havent yet, but hope you will, its easy to say oh its just lag as an excuse the exploiters give and only way to spot them is in servers with externals only warping when someones on thier 6 or being fired upon.

If hosts set more aggressive auto kick features or enabled them period there would be no need for this feature. Boink gone first time they try it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

What if instead of having a chat message that announces when a person starts a track, have a server side code kind of like the lag warning/cheating has been detected if they start and stop recording a track more than once in a five second period?

Example:

Sonandso crap pilot wants to cheat by causing his aircraft to lag, so he starts bashing the quick record key (lets assume that each time he presses the key to record, it sends a packet to the server letting it know he has done so). If he presses it more than twice (one track start/stop recording) in a 5 second period a chat message displays that says something along the lines of "Soandso is lag cheating" or something along those lines; that includes his name in the lag/cheating message. This would keep the chat area from being flooded by "soandso is starting recording" and "soandso is ending recording" if someone is bashing the quick record key.

Russian aircraft require skill to fly.
German aircraft require ten times that skill, and one hundred times the patience!

Steps to prevent cheating are great. Trouble is... when do we stop? There are people who will cheat no matter what. Oleg has taken some good steps to limit their options, I doubt he can ever erradicate every possible cheap-trick.

I suggest instead that you fly with more mature individuals and forget about those losers.

Cheers..

Bump anyway. When a cheat is discovered, a fix is in order, no matter what.

BTW, there are tons of people playing online wars like VOW, VEF, etc.. Last thing I want is being suspicious about people I play with / against.
