If your like me you think BF2 could have been a great game if it just had more realism. Well then you have to try out Project Reality for BF2. I just got it over the weekend and having tons of fun with it. Check it out: http://www.realitymod.com/

Huge download though. Over 700mb.

There are well over a dozen servers running it at this moment and many of them are full with players. Just remember in game browser to have same mod and same version selected and ranked unselected when you filter the list. My BF2 name is =HaVoK.308= see ya there.

Does it fix the F/A-18 FM?

So how does this mod make it more realistic? Does it play now more like RO does?

If it played like RO you'd break your legs walking down steps. This mod is realistic, and it doesn't play like RO thankfully.

Thx for the info m8 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif I just downloaded it but there are no servers I can go online with. They are running a different version. Could this be that they are running with the official add-ons?

So, Mods are "okay" for Online play.

Fascinating indeed.

As long as you have the same version as the server your trying to join then mods with BF2 are fine for online play. They won't be ranked servers though, EA forbids mod servers or anything other than the latest version of there vanilla software to used as 'official' EA ranked servers.

Well, I tried the BPRMM before, but as a former fan of BF2, I got to put things into relation.

Yes, the Mod makes BF2 more realistic.

No, it doesn't make BF2 realistic.

The physics of BF2 are ...odd... at least. Well, I don't know any other game, that allows you to fly smaller circles, the faster you go, outturn Sidewinders and as long as you can reload a plane by flying with afterburners over the runway, Realism and BF2 don't make anything close to sense if put in relation.
