CH Product Pro Throttle USB - Programming Question?

I know how to make the make the mini stick on the throttle
work like a virtual mouse, but is there anybody that can tell
me if it is possible to program a throttle switch to act like a
mouse button so that I can move the pilot map with the
virtual mouse?

Or is there any other way while inside the cockpit to use
keys to scroll and/or zoom in/out the pilot map?

When you open control manager click on the mini mouse in the window to bring up it's properties.

By default the mini-joystick displays it's button mode (yes it does depress as a button too). You need to set the X and Y axis mode. To do this move the mini-joystick horizontally to access X axis mode, The icon in the top right will have a highlighted X (Y will be subdued). Make sure the following boxes are checked or set to;

DirectX Mode checked
DX Device Mouse check the centered box
DX Axis X Axis reverse box blank
Sensitivity 100 (works for me)
Dead Zone 30-40 (my mini joystick does not center too well)

Now move your minijoystick vertically and the X icon in the upper corner will be subdued and the Y will be Highlighted.

Set the settings all the same as above except DX Axis is now Y Axis.

Save your profile, download it too the controller. Test it by moving the mini joystick, your mouse cursor should move in Windows.

Thnx for your reply but my virtual mouse works just fine, the big question is,
is there any way to program a stick or throttle button to act as a mouse button?

If nobody knows I will make it an RFC (Request For Change)

1. Key for Map Zoom In (Ctrl M)
2. Key for Map Zoom Out (Alt M)
3. Key(s) for Map Zoom Scrolling

Hello,

Here is a way to program a button of the pro throttle to act as a mouse button :
In control manager :
select pro throttle (or other)
choose your button
select :
direct x mode
direct X device : Mouse
direct X control ; button 1 (this map left mouse button to your pro throttle button)

Repeat step for button 2 (right) and button 3 (act as a wheel -> see doc for CH control manager).

I hope it is what you asked for.

Bye
