seems when tring to use air brakes on the corsair it makes my landing gear go down lol. is this a bug the dev's are aware of or am i the only one that is haveing this problem.I have my landing gear set to the "G" key and the air brakes set to "F2"on my flight stick.

Corsairs actually used their undercarriage as speed-brakes, if I'm not mistaken. I thought it sounded strange when I first heard it, but I guess they're sturdy enough... no bug http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

they are actually supposed to do that. the wheel doors are the airbrakes.

The dive brakes on the Corsair really were the main landing gear. The main gear doors would open and the gear would unlock and sort of hang down, the tail wheel and doors remained closed.

and to think we have it modeled in the game, the way it actually was. This is one reason why the il2/fb/aep/PF series stands far above any other WW2 era sims.

That's interesting. I had heard the Corsair had dive brakes, but never knew they were the landing gear. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
