I just thought it would be a nice eyecandy if each time you down a A/C in offline, you get a kill tally mark on your fuselage.
Is this possbile?

In-game: no.

With some graphic sofware, some spare time, and a personal skin: hell yes!

Also when you consider how some will probably rack up hunderds of kills your plane would be covered in them.

Not exactly a problem the USN/USMC/USAAF or IJN/IJA pilots faced.

Edit: Before someone points out I omitted the Army part of USAAF http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

First of all, they would probably dissapear after your pilot died and secondly, pilots had more than one mark to represent 5, 10 and 20 kills.

So your plane wouldn't fill up with them.

Maybe for some air forces.

US pilots used 1 mark=1victory. I can't think of one single US pilot who used tally marks that represented multiple victories per mark. If you can, I would appreciate an example

There is a program out there called "Paint Victories" and is a third party generated proggy. (sorry, can't remember who did it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif )

I have the program and it really does work, but have no place to host it. I'm sure someone will be ablt to help you.

Paint Victories is nice, but to tell you the truth, it saves me time to just open the skin with Paint (the one that comes with windows) and edit in the victory tabs myself. Paint Victories is really a nice little program, but it's basically Paint

It's impossible for me, after a few hours on HL my plane would be covered in kill markings, leaving no room for the actual skin.
