Also, more here

This guy here doesn't know about Hyperlobby, which if Ubi is his only choice...ouch

Not bad reviews for probably newcomers to the sim

Most (if not all) reviews miss an important feature. How about the ability to make your own missions?. With what ever fantasy or real plot? I ,for one, like that almost as much as playing. And how about competition like vow and what have u? International gatherings like that in China or recently LLTM in Holland.

Dont even want to talk about skinning. How can they miss that?

bit to little time to review i guess.

Reviews aren't perfect. There is usually more than one and a wise man will read many and not dwell on any.

Also, reviews by people with little knowledge of the game often represent views that a newcomer will understand. In this case, at least of the first review, certain aspects were illustrated that a hardcore simmer reviewing the game would never have brought up.

from second reveiw:
" but thanks to a extremely detailed manual, I was able to get going with relative ease. I am not saying, by any means, that it is easy, but the User Manual is thick and makes good use of every page!"
And: "After you spend a long time reading the book-like user manual"
Where is this extremely detailed manual at?I didnt get one in my copy. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Is this some kinda reveiwers copy with a fat manual?

I agree that COMPARED to whay is usually put before us that it MAY give us a lil more than others.
BUT when you consider the scope of this game a whole helluva lot more could've been added. They could've covered tactics more but, fer me even more useful would've been the tech side to superchargers,F/A ratio/mixture,magnetos and the proper use of.
Considering games like SWON or other arcade games I could see not including info but, this isn't an arcade game and that still doesn't mean that alot more effort could've been included.Look at PE it gives a low down of each tank their respective production figures even diffs between diff models/marks.Theres even armor pen values.
It all comes down to not just giving a lil more than those before but totally breaking the mold and goin that extra mile.Yes I could go on the net to research, read books and all that jazz but man when ya see a fat manny in a game ya think "man these guys really went far".
And be honest the reviewer was smokin rope cuz he states it twice! So much so that I really do wonder if he received some kinda fb/aep/pf "platinum pack"with all kinds of info.It just seems that ppl will get jaded by that review thats all.
