I was supprized to see this done to the F4F-3 and 4 Dash.

I would of expected work more like this done on the Mig 3U

Have a flat picture with no detail stuffed in there looks tacky compared to the work done in previous pits made by this team. I admint the panel on the F4F looks better tnat the migs, but the wires in the background set it off nicely.

Any Idea what was origianly designed to go in that hole in the real F4F-3,4 aircraft?

I hope someone with the skill can put a touch of love on this one later in a patch.

SOme cockpits really aren't on par with some others. I don't remember if it is the F4F3, but one of the F4s (maybe all) don't have a working fuel indicator. Now that's pretty bad for gameplay wouldn't you say?

The F4-F3 (and AFAIK) the F4-F4 DO have a working fuel gauge. If you look low on the extreme right of the panel you'll see it there, last dial on the right.

Really? hmm, never noticed. Maybe I thought I was getting excellent fuel economy...doh!

I love the F4F. One thing I would love to see is an indicator that tells you when your tailhook is up.

Especially, in the Wildcat, for example, the only way I know my wheels are up is to F2. I like to have the Hud disactivated, but I can't for those reasons. We rarely fly externals, so I have to keep the HuD on, or I'll just be guessing whether my tailhook is up or down.,..

Same thing in the P-51. I'd often feel nervous about my radiator position, so I'd leave my HuD on. Probably these are small insignificant demands, so most peope probably prefere to fly with the Hud messenging on but.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

it's something I can live with and just wish upon, however...
