A simple heartrate monitor that plugs into the PS3 usb port would add a great deal of depth to games like Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed.
Soldiers would sense the players presence by the player's heart rate. Because the closer you get to an assassination target the more your heart/pulse will increase.
The process in itself will teach players a greater sense of focus and self control that they can take into the real world as well.

This would also add to amazing multiplayer functionality of Guards vs. Assassins
where assassins could disguise themselves as members of the public and move toward an assassination target. And guards would be able to "sense" the assassins presence by reading an assassin's heartrate or how close the assassin player is(through various beeps) on their heads up display.

Wii Vitality Sensor 2.0.

Lance Armstrong would be immediately banned from XBox Live and PSN for assumed hacking since he lacks a traceable heartbeat.

Some ideas are really far-fetched, and the main ideas then become diluted.
Focus, people! FOCUS!
