Anyone ever hear about this XBOX game?

I have seen some of the screens of this xbox360 game. It is clear that it is a console game, and therefore nobody can expect sim characteristics in it, so I think is useless to comment faults on sim aspect...But on the other hand we can learn and enjoy many things from the graphic aspect.

For example London is impressive compared with the cities we have in FB series. If only BoB was like this. It really seems that you are over a city, not over several cardboard boxes...

The black smoke is nice too, IMO, it is more credible, at least for me. And the clouds, if they ARE really clouds and not backgrounds are fine ok.

Is nice also the contrast on blacks and colors. All together is well balanced I think.

On the other hand, it include peoples on ground that even run if you attack them.

I wonder if it is possible to have graphics like these in a realistic sim. I mean maybe it would need double core CPU? or simply using more the GPU and let the CPU for calculation is enough? I guess the answer will be BoB

It is true that PF has better graphics than Blazing Angels in some areas, for example water IMO. Nevertheless there are many points in which BA is graphically interesting.

Here I post several sshots, and a link to a video where it is possible to see people running on the ground.

Battle of Britain will look similar to that but have a IL2/FB style world to play in rather than a shallow tiny console world.

That is after all the FB Engine used in that very game.

Graphics may not be quite that good because a sim has to cope with massive maps with lots going on, and has a lot more data to process.

That game will have tiny maps and so can use the processing power it saves on prettier graphics.

Still, I loved Crimson skies so I would probably like Blazing Angels too. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Do you mean that BA uses FB engine?

I think so??

Arcadey for sure, but it certainly conveys the atmosphere of an aerial battle in a way that FB cannot. I really hope BoB looks this polished.

I just saw some videos of the game at that site. They're using the same voice pack as in IL2. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Site is good for something at least, it has some plane icons in the downloads section.
