On July 2, 1937, aviator Amelia Earhart and navigator Fred Noonan
disappeared over the Pacific Ocean while attempting to make the first
round-the-world flight at the equator.

Thanks to all our pioneers of flight! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

saw a program on her http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

she did a bunch of things she shouldnt have done, like left behind lucky charm, radio gear etc.

they missed a island in the pacific, one of those 1milex1mileish size ones with NOTHING around.

a US coast guard ship could hear them but they couldnt hear the ship.
they wherent that far from the island..
