What's the big deal? You can switch between views at will. Why not have both available?

Just fly around in the 190 gunsight toggled off.Wouldnt it be nice if it always looked that way.Once you toggle gunsight back on it distorts the view.Just look at the ME262.

Option #3, a fully modeled pit with free head motion to go with trackIR. Yep, pop the ole canopy and lean my head out the window, spit at the ground. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Question:: Did real pilots move their head? If not then the sight should be center, or Oleg must model binocular vision.

I often use gunsight view and back again to see around canopy struts, which is a realistic approximation of head movement. But this fails to work on the right side of LW cockpits becuase the head moves closer to that side rather than forward or back past the canopy frames.

I remember reading that BoB will allow you to move (pan) your view left and right. Maybe up and down if the seat allows it (Spitfire, Hurricane...).

To me it is the same. I can either press a button to move my head, or press a button to move the rudder. Either way, I see behind the frame. At least if I use the rudder, I don't have to waste keyboard keys on head movement commands.

Personally Im hoping to see a virtual pilot, and you have chance to move backwars, left right, and forward depending on the plane how much its possible. But in the way so actually see your Pilot's legs moving and hand in the stick moving. I'm sure BOB will be great, I just have on request.. give the FW-190 proper forward view =)

Kind of like CFS3, the Early P47's with the strut in the center, the reticle should be off set to the right but they placed it in the center.

Needless to say the strut is completely blocking the center of the reticle rendering it totally useless, lol.

The Question:: Did LW pilots lean head to see through Revi?

EDIT:: If they just closed left eye, then the cockpit grafix need no displacement. This should be independent of any head movement.
