View Full Version : Suggestion for Controls

I've recently started playing Assassin's Creed on my PC. I'm having the Yellow walls of blindness bug (though it went slightly better when i've installed Omega Drivers) but for the rest i'm really enjoying this game, even with all settings to minimum.
I don't know if this has been suggested already, but i find the fact you can't use gamepad and keyboard keys at the same time very limitating. I have a 10 keys gamepad on my PC so i can't set some keys (i had to leave "Running Screen", don't know the game in english, "Map" "Pause" and "Unarmed Fight" unset, thanks god most of theese things can be done in other ways) and i can't move the camera (which is the real problem, expecially in the kingdom due to that bug, i have to use the painful keyboard and mouse settings there). My first thought was to use keyboard arrows (or maybe mouse) for camera moving and set the 1-4 keys for weapons, but i've sadly discovered this can't be done...
Getting to the point, my suggestion is, for the upcoming patch, to allow users to set keys for multiple devices at once (or just make a "Gamepad and Keyboard", "Gamepad and Mouse" and "Gamepad, Keyboard and Mouse" Settings :P) in order to allow more personalization and make thoose with a 5e Gamepads enjoy the game more http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That's something I'd quite like to see myself. Unfortunately I wouldn't hold your breath

Well, I wouldn't give up all hope. Just don't get too excited. Maybe they'll bear your idea in mind for the second game though http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
