A very grim reminder...I salute those brave souls, in all capacities, that served then, before that & now. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I spent a lot of yesterday watching Pearl Harbor programs on History Television [Canadian] and the Military Channel [American]. I'm a Canuck, but there are three days every year that always give me cause to pause and reflect: June 6th, November 11th and December 7th. The first two are a part of Canadian history, but the third is still important to me. It is the date of darkest infamy for my country's big neighbour to the south. Friends for ever, sealed in the bonds of war and peace. I don't doubt for one moment that America would leave us in the lurch if we came under attack, notwithstanding the cynical who would infer that they would have no other real choice.
